Information we collect
We collect personal information when you contact us through a quote form, the contact page, phone, or email. This includes your name, email address, phone number, and the address of the site you want work done on. If you give us further detail about your project, we hold that too.
We do not collect personal information from you unless you provide it directly, for example by submitting an enquiry or calling our office.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, schedule a site visit, and deliver the work you engage us for. We may also use it to follow up with you about a job in progress or a project you have previously enquired about.
When you submit a quote form, your email address and phone number may also be used for Google Ads conversion tracking. This helps us understand which advertising leads to genuine enquiries. Where this applies, the information is shared with Google in a hashed (encrypted) form as part of Google's Enhanced Conversions feature - Google does not receive your details in plain text, and this data is used only to match your enquiry to an ad interaction, not for any other purpose.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand how visitors use the site and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. These services may set cookies in your browser. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We only share your information with the service providers we use to run our business and respond to your enquiry, such as our form-handling and website hosting providers, and with Google for the conversion tracking purpose described above. These providers are only given the information they need to perform their function for us.
Data storage and security
Your information is stored securely with reputable New Zealand and international service providers. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, unauthorised access, and disclosure.
Retention
We keep enquiry and job information for as long as it is needed to respond to you, complete any work, and meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct it if it is wrong. To make a request, or if you have any question about how we handle your information, contact us using the details below.
