For standard residential vehicles, 100mm with a proper compacted subbase is the minimum. For driveways that take trucks or heavy vehicles, we recommend 125–150mm with reinforcing mesh.
Yes. We work with exposed aggregate, broom, and smooth finishes. Colour can be added via oxide or topping - we'll discuss options at the quote stage.
Foot traffic is generally fine after 24-48 hours. Light vehicles after 7 days. Heavy or loaded vehicles should wait the full 28 days, when concrete reaches its design strength. We'll confirm the specific timings for your pour before we leave site.
Most cracking comes from inadequate subbase preparation, missing or poorly placed control joints, or an incorrect mix. We address all three at the start - not after.
Yes - break-out, removal, disposal, and replacement is a common scope for us. We can quote a full like-for-like replacement or an upgrade at the same time.
