Concrete Slabs & Hardstand
Our concreters pour house slabs, garage slabs, shed floors, outdoor entertaining areas, pathways, and industrial hardstand across Auckland. Each pour is set up with formwork and reinforcement to the specification, as set out in our structural concrete guide for builders, and finished to the level and surface specification your project requires.
For new builds, we coordinate the concrete works with the builder, survey information and engineering requirements where applicable. This can include confirming design levels (RLs), drainage falls, finished floor or pavement interfaces and pour sequencing before concrete is placed. For replacement driveways and standalone concrete works, we assess the existing surface, access, subgrade condition and drainage requirements before pricing. The quote identifies the included scope, assumptions and exclusions, including removal, disposal and reinstatement where applicable.

Subgrade & Base Preparation
Concrete performance also depends on what sits underneath. Before a driveway, slab or hardstand is poured, the supporting ground and aggregate layers need to suit the intended loading and project specification. Our scope can include excavation, removal of unsuitable material, aggregate supply, compaction and trimming to the required levels before formwork and reinforcement are installed. Where testing or geotechnical review is specified, this is coordinated at the relevant stage before the pour proceeds.

Yes. Our scope can include saw-cutting or breaking out the existing concrete, removal and disposal, preparation of the underlying base and construction of the replacement slab or pavement. Where drainage, levels or the existing base need improvement, these items are identified during the site review and included in the proposed scope.
Yes. We construct and replace vehicle crossings as part of residential and development works. Vehicle crossings within the road reserve need to meet the relevant Auckland requirements, including the approved geometry, pavement construction and inspection process. We confirm the required scope before construction starts.
